Glenn D. Garber, 86
September 15, 2023
Glenn D. Garber, an impassioned performer and a loving family patriarch, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2023 at the age of 86.
Born in Mount Joy, he was the son of the late Earl and Naomi (Metzger) Garber.
Glenn’s journey through life was filled with an unwavering love for music. His life was a beautiful song, filled with heartfelt performances, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Glenn was known in the community for performing as an Elvis impersonator. He was a member of various bands throughout his life such as: The Montrel’s, Special Request, and The Wanderers where he was able to play alongside his son, Blaine. When he wasn’t performing on stage, he enjoyed visiting local nursing homes to sing for the residents. Glenn’s faith and going to church were also important aspects to him. Glenn’s legacy is woven with the threads of his music and faith, but it extends far beyond that. He was a loving grandfather, deeply committed to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their laughter and love brought immense joy to his life.
Glenn is survived by his son, Blaine K. (Diane) Garber, of Elizabethtown; his sister, Marlene Garber, of Lebanon; his grandchildren, Jessica Rivera and Waverly Garber; and great-grandchildren, Blaine and Atticus Garber.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Dot, Bill, Charmaine, and Russ.

Glenn- I enjoyed working with you at LEPCO both in and outside the office. Loved your Elvis and your joyful personality especially when you performed at the CV High Scool. Always a pleasure to bump into you. Your family should be honored that you gave so many happy experiences and memories. Blessings!
