George B. Frizzell, 78

George B. Frizzell, 78, of Lancaster, passed away on November 14, 2025. Born on March 5, 1947, at an astounding 10 pounds and 2 ounces with the length of 22 inches to the late Joseph and Mary Frizzell.

George grew up in Millersville and graduated from Penn Manor High School. He started his education at Indiana University and then was drafted into the US Army and proudly served tours during the Vietnam Conflict.

After his service he went on to Millersville University, where he started the sigma tau gamma fraternity and studied criminology. He also did some graduate work at Wharton.

George began his career with the state working on the PA State parole board. He later became self employed as a finance broker and advisor. An avid golfer, George loved spending time on the course and could often be found cheering on Penn State during football season. He also loved animals.

George is survived by his son Jospeh and his sister Julia Frizzell Baker along with many extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his older brother, Joseph and his son James.

The service for George Frizzell will be held on Monday, November 24 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike at 3pm with a visitation prior from 2-3pm. Burial will follow the next day at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu flowers please donate in George’s name to an animal charity of your choice.
