Frances M. “Sally” Beiler, 79
Frances M. “Sally” Beiler, 79, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 in her Lancaster home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Effie R. Heiss Butt and stepdaughter of the late John W. Butt, Sr.
Sally graduated from Lancaster County Career and Technology Center as a licensed practical nurse. She worked in the local hospitals and for V.N.A. doing private duty nursing. She was of the Lutheran Faith. Sally was a member of the Guys and Dolls Social Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, bowling, going on one day trips and garage sales.
Sally was married to Amos Beiler for 56 years. She is also survived by three children, Robert, husband of Donna, St. Croix U.S.V.I., Kenneth, husband of Pamela, Lancaster, and Deborah, wife of Allen Pfleger, Lancaster; four grandchildren, Brittany Grear and Robert, II, and Drew and Cullen Beiler; and two step-grandchildren, Eric Pfleger and Dean Kissinger. She was preceded in death by two brothers John, Jr. and Donald Butt.
A Viewing will take place Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 1-2 PM, followed by the Funeral at 2 PM, with Chaplain Wesley S. Mast of Heartland Hospice officiating, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park. Please omit flowers.
