Frances F. Bentley, 83

Frances F. Bentley, 83, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Florence Lowder.

After graduating from Abington High School, Frances became a Certified Nurse’s Aide. She dedicated 29 years of service to Rock Hill Mennonite Community, where she was known for her kindness, devotion, and compassionate care.

She adored her cats, found joy in tending to her flower beds, and loved her trips to the Philadelphia Flower Show with her family. She loved stopping at yard sales and always had an eye for a great deal. One of her favorite places to visit was the Care and Share Thrift Shop.

She is survived by her son, Robert Bentley, husband of Lori (Probst) Bentley; her grandson, Hunter James Bentley; her sister, Winifred Qawasmy; and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Martha Faye.

Family invites friends to gather for a visitation from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 25, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. A funeral service and burial will follow the next day at 11 AM at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA.

A special thank you is extended to the caregivers on floor 2 at Lancaster Nursing and Rehab, who took wonderful care of Frances and remained by her side during her final moments.
