Frances Cohen, 91

Frances “Fran” Cohen, 91, of Lancaster, and formerly of South Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Esther Eidelman. She was married to the late Bernard Cohen until his passing in 2005.

Fran was a graduate of Overbrook High School in Philadelphia. She worked as an office manager for a drapery business and even ran her own drapery business with Bernard (Bernie). She moved to South Jersey shortly after having her first child. She loved the Atlantic City area. She moved to Lancaster County after her husband died to be closer to her daughter. She was an avid reader and loved attending book sales and she also enjoyed playing Mahjong.

Fran is survived by her daughter, Michelle Asin (Arthur), and 2 grandchildren, Justin and Matthew Asin. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Cohen.

Fran will be laid to rest at Montefiore Cemetery with her husband and son.
