Florence B. Geib, 95

Florence B. Geib, 95, of Brethren Village, Lititz, PA, passed away October 26, 2015.She was born September 4, 1920, in Rapho Township, Lancaster County, PA, to Elias and Katie Geib.

She worked as a seamstress at factories in Mount Joy, Columbia, Elizabethtown, and most recently, for Donegal Industries as Assistant to the Production Manager. In retirement she enjoyed making comforters for Mennonite Central Committee to be distributed where needed.

Her activities included serving as organist at Florin Church of the Brethren and volunteering at Meals on Wheels in Mount Joy. She also volunteered in various capacities at the Brethren Village.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Emma Becker and Orpha, (wife of Abner M. Wolgemuth).

She is survived by four nieces, Janet Wolgemuth, Joann (wife of Roger Sider), Joyce, (wife of Nelson Heisey), June (wife of T. E. DuPree) and one nephew, Dwight (married to Roxanne Craft) and nine great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by numerous great-great nieces and nephews. She was dearly loved by her family.

The funeral Service for Florence will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11 AM at Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA, with Rev. Mark Tedford and Rev. Randy Fiske officiating. Her family will receive guests from 10 AM until time of service. Interment will take place in Chiques Hills Cemetery, Manheim, PA.
