Condolences to the Family

Hi Danny and Laura,
I wanted to exress my condolences to you on the passing of your mother. I had met you, a long time ago at Barney and Evelyns home in Millersville. I am a graphic designer/artist and I had worked with both of them for many years, probably at least 30, and enjoyed them as fun, caring people. I had kept in touch with your mom, after Barney passed and Evelyn made a few moves in her residence. When she move back to Lancaster, we had reconnected and even worked on a couple of projects together. I just wanted to let you know that your mom was always a big supporter of me and my artwork. I was fortunate to call her a good friend. I will miss her endless energy and positive attitude.

Hi,
I had the wonderful enriching opportunity to treat and touch Evy and Barney as I helped them to move with physical therapy care. During my care-giving, we talked and thus I knew how absolutely wonderful they both were!!! They touched me and will always be part of me.
Barney and Evy were a blessing and will never leave me or you. When my wife Brenda and I attended a meeting in SF, we traveled to visit Eviy. We spoke on the phone only weeks before she left us.
What wonderful everlasting people.

Evie and I knew each other only briefly in her days at Brethren Village, but I cherish the memories of her delightful artistic sense, her courage during health struggles, and her sense of humor.
Gratefully,

I just called Evy on Monday and left a birthday message. She was a beloved friend in Rossmoor and Mike and I even visited her and stayed over in Lititz, PA. She loved anything Jewish and Israel with all her heart. Everyone she met here in Rossmoor loved her warmth and sincere friendship. Mike and I loved her so much. Keep the memories alive as I will. With sadness and affection, Elaine Harris

My sincere condolence to Evelyn’s family. She really was amazing! She was an active member of Bnai Israel in Rossmoor. It was always wonderful to speak with her. We treated her to a farewell luncheon which she enjoyed, especially as friends came up to her to wish her well on the East Coast.
Evelyn will be missed!
I wish I knew her when I lived in York,PA 1986-88. I was always up in Lancaster to solicit ads for a county Business Newspaper.
