Hiya, Our family were Gene and Carol’s neighbors from the mid 70s to the late 80s.I was best buds with his son , Kevin growing up 1974 to about 1988 and, as childhood friendships often do, we went our own ways as we grew. Anyway, Gene always invited me to participate in “whatever” at the time and I too, remember his carpantry skills, when repairing something or making a toy or doing a specific project. He made Kevin and Colin race car beds out of wood! They were awesome. Gene and his late wife Carol, were so friendly. Always felt welcome. Gene, you will be missed. No one can fill the gap you leave behind. Thank you for your kindness.

Your Dad was my favorite cousin!! He taught me how to ride a bike when my parents left us with Aunt Ann and Uncle Ed in Wisconsin Rapids. Every time I tried to quit he called me a cream puff. I’m so happy we got to visit with him when he did his road trip. I’ll miss talking to him. Love Pat

I am a neighbor of your dad. He and my late husband met once a month for coffee at our home. He was such a kind man and was a great support when Henry passed away 3 years ago. I will miss our conversations and banter. I am sure he and Henry can now get together and continue their coffee Meetings.
Patricia
