Elsie M. Crites, 93
Elsie M. (Varner) Crites, 93, of Lititz, passed away peacefully Friday, November 23, 2012 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.
Born in Shippensburg, she was the wife of the late Ralph E. Crites, Sr. and the daughter of the late Harry Bigler and Jennie (Simons) Varner.
A faithful servant of the Lord, she was considered by her family to be the sweetest lady to ever walk the earth.
Elsie attended God’s Missionary Church in Lebanon.
She is survived by a daughter, Vickie L. Keller of Lititz; a son, Ralph E. Crites, Jr of East Petersburg; 3 grandchildren: Monica L. Haas of Harrisburg, Tonya L. McGowan of Shippensburg, and Jeff Kuhn of CA; 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald P. Varner; a daughter, Connie L. West; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2012 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA with Pastor Alan K. Walter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Please omit flowers.
