Dear Culik cousins,
Prayers and thoughts from my family. I always remember Aunt Eleanor laying out clothing patterns on the dining room table out at the lake. One summer we spent time at your old Lancaster house with the crazy footbath in the tub. We went to Long wood gardens for fireworks, and your dad made a lot of pastries! We sure had fun when you arrived at the lake!
Love,
Pattie Clauss-Frick

Aunt Eleanor was a remarkable woman who influenced all of her nieces and nephews. Perhaps more her nieces in that you could be both highly educated and family oriented. A true pioneer!

Dear Cousins. I am saddened to learn of Aunt Eleanor’s passing. She was always so easy to talk to and helped me when I had to move mom out of her home and to a safer environment. When your dad died , mom offered one of the grave sites at holy sepulchre cemetery. We still have a site available if you would like to use it for your mom and dad. Grandma and grandpa are buried there and Bud and Marie are nearby. Please let me know if you might be interested and if it would be in line with her wishes. My phone is 9895512223. My prayers for all of you. Love Marietta

To my Culik cousins: I’m so very sorry for your loss. For the past year or so I was sending your mom photos of her “younger” days with her siblings because I rediscovered photos that brother John had scanned from our dad’s collection. I even chatted with her last year at Uncle Tom’s suggestion and had a delightful conversation, reminding her that she was the one who taught me (at the lake) how to make an apple pie. And, of course, I still have fond memories of a summer month in Kennett Square with all of you. You are all in my prayers.
