Eleanor Marie Rohlf, 98, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late William and Eleanor (Grubb) Graham. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles E. Rohlf.

A graduate of the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing, Marie dedicated her life to helping others as a registered nurse both in private practice and at the Lancaster General Hospital.

She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Lancaster, Pa. An avid supporter of the arts, Marie enjoyed attending the symphony concerts and opera performances in which her husband performed with the Lancaster Opera Company.

Marie’s life was marked by a deep love for gardening. She also delighted in hosting family parties for special occasions, creating cherished memories with her warmth and hospitality.

She is survived by her children: William C. Rohlf of Mertztown, PA, Kathie E. Trites, wife of William of Lancaster, PA, J. Scott Rohlf, husband of Alba of FL, and Michael G. Rohlf, husband of Beverly of Rockwall, TX. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Jean Marantz.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will follow in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. Family and friends will be received from 10-11 AM at the funeral home on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marie’s memory may be made to the Lancaster County Nurse Honor Guard Association.
