Edwin Polito Cuba Villanueva, 70

Edwin P. Cuba Villanueva, 70, of Mountville, and formerly of Camuy, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on December 23, 2025. Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Fildalicia Villanueva Santiago and the late Hipolito Cuba Bonilla. He was married for 28 years to his beloved wife Adriana Cuba.

Edwin worked as a diesel mechanic for 26 years in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He was also a gifted musician and enjoyed playing the guitar. He loved the Lord and sang His praise every day, serving the Lord in all aspects. He was an excellent and devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He lived his life with integrity, humility and brought peace to those around him. Edwin also loved spending time with his family, brothers and sisters in Christ, and especially Christmas parties (parrandas navideñas).

In addition to his wife and mother, Edwin has his survived daughter Ariana Cuba Rivera, and 4 siblings: Annie Hilda Cuba Villanueva, Edda Enid Cuba Villanueva, Nimia Débora Cuba Villanueva, and Evelio David Cuba Villanueva. He also had his (late) daughter Mariana Cuba Rivera.

The family will receive guests for a viewing on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 1-2 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. A service will be held at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.

Edwin P. Cuba Villanueva, de 70 años de edad, residente de Mountville y anteriormente Camuy de Puerto Rico, falleció pacíficamente rodeado de su familia el 23 de diciembre de 2025. Nacido en Camuy, Puerto Rico, era hijo de Fildalicia Villanueva Santiago y del difunto Hipolito Cuba Bonilla. Estuvo casado durante 28 años con su amada esposa, Adriana Cuba.

Edwin trabajó como mecánico de motores diésel durante 26 años en Arecibo, Puerto Rico. También era un músico talentoso, disfrutaba tocando la guitarra, leer la Biblia y trabajaba para el Señor. Amaba al Señor y cantaba sus alabanzas a diario, sirviéndole en todos los aspectos de su vida. Fue un esposo, padre, hijo y hermano excelente y dedicado. Vivió su vida con integridad, humildad y transmitía paz a quienes lo rodeaban. A Edwin también le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, hermanos de la iglesia y especialmente las parrandas navideñas.

Además de su esposa y madre, a Edwin le sobrevive su hija Ariana Cuba Rivera y 4 hermanos: Annie Hilda Cuba Villanueva, Edda Enid Cuba Villanueva, Nimia Débora Cuba Villanueva y Evelio David Cuba Villanueva. También tenia una hija Mariana Cuba Rivera (falleció).

La familia recibirá a los invitados para el velorio el martes 30 de diciembre de 2025, de 1 PM a 2 PM, en la Funeraria y Crematorio Charles F. Snyder, ubicada en 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo a las 2 PM. El entierro tendrá lugar posteriormente en el Cementerio Menonita de Mellinger.
