Edwardo Carrero, Jr., 55, passed away early Sunday morning September 22, 2013, after a 2 year courageous battle of liver cancer at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy, PA.
Born to Edwardo and Irma Carrero in Manhattan, NY, he worked at Ames Reese for 3 1/2 years as a machine operator. He was married to Diana Carrero for 30 years. Edwardo leaves behind his 3 children: Liana, Rene, Raymond. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren: Zavier, Jasmine, Jazalle, Jaylynn, Aubrey, Adrianna, Julianna, Anthony and Natalia.
He enjoyed holding hands and walking his dog with his beloved wife. Those who knew him will genuinely miss his generosity and willingness to help others in a time of need. Edwards was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren as well as his pets. He will truly be missed by his family and every heart he touched. May god keep you in our hearts, till we meet again. Love you forever and always!
A Viewing will be held by Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 East King Street, Lancaster PA 17602, from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, September 24th, 2013. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Edwardo’s memory to the Humane League of Lancaster County, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.

RENE AND I GREW UP TOGETHER IN WAGNER PROJECTS HE WAS MY FIRST LOVE AND THOUGH WE BOTH WENT OUR SEPERATE WAYS HE WAS ALWAYS LOVED AND MISSED HE WAS A GREAT GUY ALL OF US WERE BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN HIM MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS LOVING FAMILY THEY WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS IM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOST BUT REMEMBER HE LIVES ON IN ALL OF US WITH THE LOVE AND MEMORIES THAT WE ALL HAVE OF HIM

Eddie was a great guy and i had the pleasure of working with him at Ames Reese.
Eddie will be sadly missed by those who had the good fortune to have known him.
