Dwight W. Fetterhoff, 75

November 25, 2025

Dwight W. Fetterhoff, 75, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Dwight G. & Mary (Zangari) Fetterhoff. He was the husband of Gail (Crawford) Fetterhoff.

He graduated from Penn Manor High School and was employed in various roles with PPL Electric for over 40 years.

Outside of work, Dwight was known by many model train enthusiasts, locally as well as nationally, for his expert construction of American Flyer replacement train parts, as well as train repairs.
Dwight was at his happiest on his vacation trips to Ocean City, Md. with family members and friends.

As a longtime member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, Dwight was active in the Men’s Club’s activities, and served as an usher. He also maintained membership in the Lancaster Moose Lodge, Millersville Masonic Lodge # 476, and the Riverside Camping Association of Lancaster.

Surviving, in addition to his wife Gail, are his son, Mark Fetterhoff, his daughter, Jody Fetterhoff; his sister, Donna Robinson, and his nephews, Shane Robinson, and Todd Robinson married to Christine Sollenberger.

Thank you to the staff at Masonic Health Care Center for their compassionate, excellent care for Dwight during his last months’ of life.

Funeral services will be held privately for the family.

I have very fond memories of Dwight in class. He had an easy smile.  Even though I moved away,
I never forgot his charm. I’m glad he has such a full life of activities and service.

To all the members of Dwight’s family, I was so sorry to hear of Dwight’s passing, but I know he was suffering and it was time for him to find  peace. I knew Dwight as a little boy when he and his family lived in Delta. When I went to their store and apartment to visit Donna, Dwight was a charming little brother. I will always remember him that way. Jane T Brown

My sincere condolences to Dwight’s family. This came as a shock to me as I was unaware that Dwight was ill. I went to Penn Manor High School with him and later worked with him at PP&L and would occasionally run in to him at the Riverside Club or Amvets Post 19. I always considered Dwight a real good friend and I’m so sorry for your loss. Terry McDonald
