So sorry to hear about Dot. I came across her obit. while looking for another one in the Lancaster area. I knew her many years ago. Her mom was my Sunday School teacher in Elmont and I patterned my Sunday School teaching after her. I remember the times we went to her mom’s home to play games and there I met Dot. I went to the ship when Ellie went to Egypt and then Dot’s dad took me under his wing when I was in Bible School. What a family and what a heritage. I loved hearing about Dot and Bill and the work they did serving the Lord. Seeing the pictures brought back lots of memories for me. Rev. Rankin officiated at my wedding in 1962. Thank you for the pictures and the memories. What a reunion there will be in heaven.

I have fond memories of spending time at the Drury’s home when I was young. I can remember the inside of the house as if it had been my own. That’s how often I was there :)) Debbie and I could be quite the handful. Debbie – I remember your mother very fondly and will keep you and your family in my thoughts. My sympathy to all of you. We were Dorothy’s next-door neighbors along Willow Street Pike for many years. She was a very kind person. We have a lot of fond memories with her and her family. I remember she enjoyed getting a small bouquet of violets from the yard in early spring; her “Happy Birthday Jesus” cakes; the turkey stuffing times; and the sprinkles of “special blessings” while we were doing dishes. A lot of fun and special times. Our condolences…
