Donna L. Eckert, 83

The family of Donna L. Eckert are saddened to announce her passing on October 18, 2025, at Brethren Village. Born in Lancaster, she was the eldest daughter of Donald L. Sr. and Thelma (Hall) McClune. She shared over 51 years of marriage and a beautiful family with Harold Eckert until his passing in 2012.
Many will remember her for dedicating 36 and a half years with Pfizer. After retirement and moving to Brethren Village she was quite the social butterfly. She enjoyed social groups including wii bowling, cornhole, and pinochle, volunteering with LEFC church where she was a member and participated in the life prayer group and Love Inc., volunteering at UPMC Lititz, and at the Brethren Village gift shop and grocery store.
Donna is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Ramsey, wife of Robert of VA, grandchildren, Christopher Ramsey, Lauren Shepard, Taylor Ramsey, and Nicholas Ramsey, 8 great grandchildren, her siblings, Sherry Dagen, wife of Fred of SC, and Dr. Donald L. McClune Jr., husband of Debbie Dewald of PA, and sisters-in-law, Nancy Litzenberg (Joe) and Linda Eckert (late Barry Eckert). She was preceded in passing by her parents and husband.
A Memorial Service honoring Donna will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Chapel of Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, beginning at 11:30 AM. The family will receive guests from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Donna will be interred with her husband Harold at Memory Gardens in Ephrata. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care.

Prayers and blessings to you all. My mother worked with Thelma at RCA and were very good friends, Betty Parmer! I remember many times coming to your home in Lititz, as a child. Playing mostly with Sherry, as we were both the same age. I remember Don, Sr and the whole family. Prayed and often thought of all of you, as you all were soooo very young, when you lost your parents.
My how much Donna looked like your mother!! When i am in Lititz, I often pass your old home and I always think whatever happened to you all.

My prayers go out to the families and friends of Donna and may you find peace and comfort that Donna is Home with jesus. My thoughts are with Sherry and Don and their repective families and I pray that God will lessen the pain you feel with memories you shared.

Donna was in my life. Since the day I was born. 66 years. She was my “namesake” Such a loving and caring lady. A classy lady, too! I will miss her deeply. She loved the Lord! So, it comforts my heart. Knowing she’s in Heaven. 🙏♥️ Her family is in my thoughts and prayers. RIP my dear sweet Donna 🩷 Donna & Byron Smith
