The world collectively has taken a deep sigh. What a beautiful light to so many of us! Your energy and form will be greatly missed but your spirit and love for life, your courage and simplicity will live on through everyone you touched and loved. Walk on!!
Ellen, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sue Weber
He was my childhood friend…and he could make me laugh. There are many happy memories of the time spent with Donnie; cubscouts, The Willow Street Pool, serving mass at St. Mary’s, parochial school wrestling at LCHS, St. Mary’s boyscout Troop #17 and working on the short order line at Willow Valley. Memories of my childhood are memories of happy times. Donnie Fisher certainly is part of them. It saddens me to learn that a link to that childhood is lost, and now too, is a memory. Faith tells me he is in a better place, but will be missed by those who are left behind.
To all of the Fisher family, I am truly sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in your own memories of Don.
With sincerest sympathy,
Lou Jackubowski
It is hard to believe that I had been emailing with him in regards to our class reuion and never knew of what was going on.
I remember attending St.Mary’s and LCHS with him. He was always cheerful and happy go lucky. He also had a kind word for everyone. He was a true person and never made anyone feel any differently. My thoughts and prayers go to your family at this time.
