Donald R. Kaylor, 74
Donald R. Kaylor, 74, of Mountville, passed away Thursday, October 04, 2012 at LGH. Born in Hershey, PA he was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Violet (Michael) Kaylor.
A veteran of the US Army he proudly served his country. Don was an avid outdoorsman and also enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Jeannene Johnson, wife of Hubert, Doreen Armstrong, wife of Steven both of Ellicott City, MD, and Deb Rohrer, wife of Timothy of Lititz. Also surviving are 3 siblings: Benjamin F. Kaylor, Jr. of Harrisburg, PA, Kenneth Kaylor, husband of Elsie, of Elizabethtown, PA, and Darleen Pfeiffer, wife of Robert of Landisville, PA, 5 grandsons, and 4 great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Paul, Stearl, and Dennis Kaylor.
A Funeral Service will be at 11AM on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Family and friends will be received between 10-11AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Don’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603. We are so sorry for your loss. We have been neighbors of Don’s for the past 20 years, and always enjoyed chatting with him whenever our paths crossed. He was a very kind-hearted man. Your devotion and faithful caring for him really touched our hearts. We have lost a dear friend, and we will miss him a lot.
