Donald J. Bitzer, 67
Donald J. “Butch” Bitzer, 67, of Manheim, passed away, Saturday, January 24, 2008. Born in E. Lampeter Twp., he was the son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Sullivan) Bitzer.
Donald was employed by Lancaster Malleable Casting for 22 years as a fork lift operator. He attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Butch was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Hershey Bears fan.
Donald is survived by a brother; John S. Bitzer of Lancaster. 4 sisters; PeggyE. Koser wife of H. Eugene of Lancaster, Nancy L. Groff of Leola, Mary K. Hensel of Ephrata, and Linda E. Mellott wife of Rodney N. of FL. And several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister; Shirley A. Plank.

A Christian Prayer Service will be held Friday, January 30, 2008 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 414 E. King St. Lancaster 17602 at 11 a.m. Family and Friends will be received before the service at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow the service at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
