Dennis L. Levan, 73, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Rothsville, he was the son of Ruth Mellinger Moomey and the
late Clarence Levan Jr. Dennis was the loving husband of Robin Levan who died in 2021.

Dennis was a proud graduate of Warwick High School and dedicated over 45 years of his career to Armstrong World Industries. Known for his quick wit, sarcasm, and love of a good joke, Dennis brought laughter wherever he went.

He loved traveling to St. Pete Beach, Florida, riding his motorcycle, and listening to oldies and classic rock. A proud Son of the American Legion Post 34, Dennis was also a devoted sports fan—especially of the Philadelphia Flyers—and cherished nothing more than attending his grandsons’ sporting events.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Ruth, is his beloved daughter, Rhiannon (Shema) Levan; grandchildren Damon, Desmond (Samantha), Miguel, and Cayden; great-grandchildren Dallas, Journee, Maverick, and Daxton; and his brother Keith (Kathleen) Sterling.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In honor of Dennis, the family encourages acts of kindness in his memory.
