David Wayne Dotterer, 57, of Lancaster, died Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Donald and M. Lorraine (Shenk) of Lancaster.
Prior to his illness, he worked as a delivery driver for Simply From Scratch Catering, and also delivered newspapers for Lancaster Newspapers.
Dave was an avid Eagles fan and loved a good game of pool.
He attended Manheim Township High School.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Debra L. Eidemiller and her husband Timothy; three nieces: Heather Eidemiller and her fiancé Angel Perez-Negron; Courtney (Eidemiller) Wolgemuth and her husband Sean; and Krystal Eidemiller; a great-nephew, Carson Perez-Negron; and a great-niece, Maycee Wolgemuth.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

This is Scott Doutrich I am so sorry to see and hear of Dave’s passing he was always a good friend and will be missed. You know when we were kids we were like brothers he working out for football myself for soccer even after we graduated we spend a lot of time together I enjoyed all those times with him and thought he was a great person. Will see you on the other side my friend.
