David F. Tarbart, 63, of Lititz, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at The Gardens for Memory Care of Easton.

Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Francis P. Tarbart and Anna Louise (Graff) Tarbart. He grew up in Orange County, California and graduated from Pacifica High School where he played football and was a member of the wrestling team.

He attended Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington where he studied business administration and also played defensive line for the Pirate Football Team. Following school, David worked as a manager in the restaurant business for many years in both California and Washington. He was a lifelong power lifter. One of his favorite things was fishing, especially in the Eastern Sierra of California but his most important focus in his life was always dedication to his family.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his two sons, Cole and Aaron Tarbart; his brother, Jason Tarbart; his nephew, Michael Tarbart; his former wife Stefanie Pettit, his aunt, Becky Wingerd and his aunt and uncle, Cathy and Irv Tarbart.

He was preceded in death by his father, and sister, Carrie Tarbart.

Friends and family will be received from 10AM to 11AM on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A memorial service will follow at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
