Condolences to the Family

Cheryl and the boys,
Always “Meck” to me…what a dear friend, though time and distance clouded the memories we shared. Dave and I go back to Penn Manor track team together, running relays under Coach Amigh. Then came the MGs and Triumphs, hitchhiking to Watkins Glen and chasing each other down Eddyville Rd. after visiting you Cheryl. You were so dedicated to him, I remember you recovering with him after his foundry accident. Touching to me, yearning for a relationship like that.
Dave came from Good Stock, Virgil and Maxine as parents but friends. Her cups of Maxwell House were always welcome to my mouth. Ginnie, you know you grew up in a precious family, and I am confident you are carrying the tradition forward.
It’s hard to say goodbye to a long-ago best friend. Dave was a treasure. Actually the whole family was a treasure to me at various times and in various ways.  Thank you for loving each other as you did.

I was so sorry to hear about Dave’s passing.    I knew Dave in high school as a good friend. Loved watching him play basketball, along with his brother, Steve. My condolences to his family.

Todd and Tyler,
Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your dad and my sincere condolences to the whole family.
I got to know Dave about 20 years ago or so and always enjoyed my conversations with your dad and working with him whenever I was at Pop It dropping off work or discussing possible projects. I’ve missed those and his easy going personality since his retirement.
May your memories of him sustain you and bring you comfort.

To Cheryl and family,
Although I only saw Dave twice since high school, his parents shared stories of your busy lives and some of his superb art work.  We are grieving with you and continue to pray for you.  We will not forget him.

To the Meck family,
Was so very sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. I worked with Dave at Pop-it Graphics and long before that, too. At least over the last 30+ years. He was such a great guy to work with and was a fountain of knowledge when you had a problem and needed a solution. He was also one of the nicest guys to chat with and our chats often involved motorcycles and motorcycle trips. He will be missed by so many.

My sincerest sympathies,
Doug Hershey

Cheryl, Todd, Tyler and family.  I am sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He was a true friend and I knew him for many years. I so loved stopping in at PopIt and shooting the breeze with Dave about up coming projects or just talking about stuff. Sorry for your loss and I will remember Dave always.

To the family of Dave Meck,
I am so sorry to hear of Dave’s untimely passing. Dave was a kind, quiet, and brilliant guy who was my Senior Prom date! We went as pals and got through the ordeal of this event somehow. He was a casual friend of mine but always a great guy to know and be with. My sincerest sympathies for your loss.

To Cheryl and family,
My condolences on the passing of Dave. We grew up together, attending the same schools and church. We were at each other’s houses almost daily, playing baseball or basketball. We had not seen each other for years until his father’s funeral. I have many great memories of Dave.
