Daniel Stephen Beckman, 29

February 23, 2025

Daniel S. Beckman, 29, of Brownstown, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the University of Pittsburgh Hospital, following a brief and unexpected illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the loving son of Debra S. Beckman and the late Scott D. Beckman.

Dan was a 2014 graduate of Cocalico High School. He worked for Ames Construction as an HVAC technician.

Always a good-hearted person, Dan looked for ways that he could help others. He was very kind and caring but also had a wonderful sense of humor. Dan enjoyed bass fishing and was a skilled woodworker.

In addition to his mother, Debra, Dan will be greatly missed by his older brother, David, husband of Megan; his baby niece, Wren; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends will be received for a viewing from 9AM to 11AM, Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Lancaster Evangelical Free Church, 419 Pierson Rd., Lititz, PA 17543. Funeral Services will follow at 11AM. Interment will be private.

Dan will be remembered as a hero who gave the most precious gift as an organ donor, his desire to help others will now live on.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Dan’s memory be made to the Organization for Responsible Care of Animals (ORCA).

Dan had a great gift of giving. Daniel on many occasions showed his love and strength for those around him and for every animal he would come in path with. A life time friend of our family and our hearts. Deb and family a huge heart felt for your loss. Dan touched many of ours lives and will be missed.
