Daniel C. Garofalo, Jr., 55

Daniel C. Garofalo, Jr., 55, of West Hempfield Twp., passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, after a short battle with cancer. Born in Greensburg, PA, he was the son of Janice (Burk) Garofalo of Lancaster, and the late Daniel C. Garofalo, Sr.
Prior to becoming disabled, Daniel worked as a truck driver for Lawn Equipment Parts Company in Marietta. He enjoyed riding his custom built motorcycle; was a street rod enthusiast and an avid NASCAR fan.
In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by two sisters, Marjorie A. Lindberg and her husband Ronald of Lititz, and Tracy Garofalo of Dover, DE. Also surviving are two nieces, Stephanie Lindberg and Julie Kulp; great-nieces, Snow Lynne Bailey and Kayla Jean Kulp; and great-nephews, Leo Xavier Bailey and Kayden Scott Kulp.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service which will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, March 4, at Hope Episcopal Church, 2425 Mountain Road, Manheim, PA, 17545, where the family will receive guests beginning at 3:30 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601.

Jan, Margie and Tracy…I am sadden to see this in the paper. It has been so many yrs but he still looks like the Danny I knew when I was a kid. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Jan, I especially have you in my prayers and heart.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this terrible time. I was shocked and sadden to see this in the paper.  Dan used to come into Hinkles where I worked and was always so very nice. My heart hurts for your family as I will continue to pray for strength for you . So very sorry for your loss.
