My sincere condolences to Clara’s family at this time. Clara was so sweet and thoughtful at F&M, always treating everyone with such love and patience. And when we would see her and her husband when we were out for a neighborhood walk, they both always stopped and chatted with us and our children. They are both missed. I did not know Clara well, but when I was able to have lunch at the Buchnan Room at F&M, it was such a pleasure having her there.  Clara was always so kind, caring and pleasant.  The rest of my day, each and every time, was so much brighter!  I strived to “pay it (her kindness) forward.”  I’m sure she made an enormous difference in the lives of her loved ones, but she also did so for many others who just crossed her path for a little while.  Kathy from F&M

In my many years of employment at Franklin and Marshall, Clara was a constant ray of sunshine, always with a smile, a kind word and genuine friendliness, forever making you welcome, like you were the most important person she was serving that day.
