Dear Lucille,

Judy and I were saddened to learn of Clair’s passing. I can still remember when we first chatted over in Lancaster County Park in that Playground area. That was over 20 years ago. While Clair is now rejoicing in the presence of his LORD and Savior, we remain here – left behind, so to speak, to still live and walk in this valley of tears. Our sorrow is greatly tempered by the knowledge that he is with GOD now, but we still experience the loss and must deal with the resulting loneliness.

I cannot claim to know anything of what you are now experiencing. Know that our thoughts and most sincere condolences go out to you and all your family members.

May I please share with you the following Word of Hope from GOD’S Holy Word …

GOD in love has promised grace for every trial,
strength for every sorrow, help for every mile,
and may HE in sympathy and unfailing love impart
help for each tomorrow and new courage to your heart.

Cast your burdens upon the LORD,
and HE shall sustain you;
HE shall never allow the righteous to be moved …
Cast all your cares upon HIM,
for HE cares for you.
                                                                          Psalm 55:22, 1st Peter 5:7
