Christopher R. Forney, Sr., 39

Christopher R. Forney, Sr., 39, of Lancaster, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 19, 2011 in Lancaster, PA.

He was the husband of Alice M. Godfrey Forney. Born in Ruislip, England, he was the son of Bonnie Lee Loreman of Bradenton, FL.

Chris was a truck driver, working for MBM Corporation of Lancaster for 18 years.

He loved to ride his Harley Davidson Fatboy, loved to hunt, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Chris was known as the life of the party, the type of person that loved life and always tried to bring a smile to someone else’s face or make you laugh.

In addition to his wife and mother, Chris is survived by his two beloved sons, Christopher R. Jr. and Matthew R Forney; his brothers , Jack married to Karyn Forney of Williamsport, PA and Greg Forney of Port Deposit, MD and by his nieces and nephews: Nathan, Candice, Kayla, Kendra, and Jazmin.

Funeral  Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Chris’ family requests that contributions be made in his memory to The Sons of Christopher Forney Sr. Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank location.
