April 29, 2025
Christine M. Dawydovich, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Born in Lviv, Ukraine, she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Oksana Theodorovich Dawydovich. Coming to the United States soon after World War II, her family grew up in the greater Philadelphia area.
Christine earned an Associates Degree and became a long-time paralegal for the Post and Schell law firm in their Philadelphia practice. She was very interested and active in fitness and health, which led her to own and operate her own health spa, the Four Season Spa in Warrington, in the early 1970s before the fitness craze exploded.
She was a woman of many talents and interests who was the life of the party and ahead of her time in many ways. She had a great curiosity for life and learning, being fluent in several languages and being very well-read. She balanced her commitment to fitness with being a fantastic cook, and was a great homemaker for her family and talented decorator.
She was a member of St. Leo The Great Catholic Church.
Christine is survived by her children: Mary Brady of Harwood, MD, John married to Joanne Brady of Hatboro, Alexandra Brady-Matchem married to Mark Matchem of Princeton, NJ, and Christopher married to Anna Brady of Chicago, IL; her 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and her 4 siblings: Helen Little, George Dawydovich, Monica Zbyr, and Mary Fedak.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:30AM.
