Charles A. “Bud” Rodenbaugh, 83

July 22, 2020

Charles A. “Bud” Rodenbaugh, 83, passed away peacefully Wednesday July 22, 2020. He was the loving husband of Frances (Hubert) Rodenbaugh, with whom he shared 61 wonderful years of marriage together. Born March 1, 1937, in Belvidere, NJ, Charles was the son of the late Charles F. and Theresa (Gall) Rodenbaugh.

For over 40 years, Charles worked at Jersey Central Power and Light where he retired in 1996 as a boiler operator. Charles was a former member at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New Holland and a member of Knights of Columbus where he was a fourth degree knight. In his spare time, Charles found great joy in fishing and spending time outdoors. Above all else, Charles valued time with his family and enjoyed creating memories with them.

In addition to his loving wife, Frances, his memory will be cherished by a son: Charles J. Rodenbaugh, husband of Lisa; a daughter: Michelle Pelkey; four sisters: Ruth Ann Kintzel, Betty McPeek, Kathy Rodenbaugh, and Diana Bacon; two granddaughters: Sandra and Megan; two step-granddaughters: Allison and Brittany; as well as one step great-granddaughter, Lily whom he adored.

Charles was preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, Richard, and William Rodenbaugh as well as a sister, Joyce Sutton.

In accordance to his wishes, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
