All my prayers and condolances. Bud was an amazing manager and an amazing man. Bud inspired me with his leadership ability and he was a good friend. We had so many great conversations in my cube and in his office. Thank you for your service my friend. Peace to you and your family.

My condolences to all of Bud’s family and friends. I worked with Bud for several years at Lockheed on Coast Guard projects. Bud was a great leader and an inspiration to work with and for. I learned so much during chats in his office. When I think of Bud, I think of preserverence, integrity, and a love of the sea. He will be greatly missed.

My sincere condolences to Bud’s family.
I worked with Bud on a proposal at the Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS for a few months in 1996 and both traveled to the shipyard weekly every Sunday and flying back to Philly on late Friday. Bud and I also worked for the same director for about 4+ years and I remembered vividly that Bud and I shared Vietnam war stories every time we came to the staff weekly meeting early that no ones there would fully understand what we talked about unless they were there during the war. Each year, the week leading to April 30th (the Fall of Saigon), Bud contacted me to see if I can join him and 6 other survivors from his unit (most on wheelchair) when he was in Vietnam to meet at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C., where they have been meeting there annually on April 30th to remember others from their unit and other friends those didn’t return home. Thank you Bud for all the memories and knowledge that you shared and they will be here forever. RIP Bud!

Oh, my heart aches to hear this news. In the mid-90s, when Bud first came to LMCO, he and I worked together. He mentored me and I was grateful for his experience and wisdom. We traveled together to Boston, and I’ll always remember that your family lived for some years not far away (was it Reading MA?) and Bud turned me on to Legal Seafoods. He also taught me to never jaywalk in Boston 🙂 We became friends. Though I left LMCO in 1999, we stayed in touch. When Bud retired, he sent me some materials from our common project in the 90s. We messaged every year on LinkedIn, and I always enjoyed catching up on family news and his activities. I can hear in my mind, right now, his distinctive voice. May God rest his soul. And give peace to you his family. I feel such deep sadness. Peace to you all.

Dear Lois and Family, I am so sorry to learn of Bud’s sudden, unexpected death.  It is very heartbreaking, I always enjoyed seeing you walking around the neighborhood as a couple and our “alley” chats.  I know you will miss him every day!
