Betty Jane Baker, 74

Betty Jane Baker, 74, of Lancaster, PA, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Mary Wilson. Betty was the loving wife of John Baker.
Betty loved laughing & watching the Golden Girls. She liked being with her family and spending time with her grandkids. Betty was a missionary & member of Brightside Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband, John, are children: Denise Jenkins (Luke), Betty Hogue (Rodney), Sherri Wilson, Linda Wilson & Lois Wilson; half-brother: Paul Wilson, Jr; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters: Shirley Jenkins, Lois Myers & Stella Wilson; 1 grandchild & 3 great-grandchildren.
Home Going Services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11 AM at Brightside Baptist Church, 515 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM at the church. Interment will be at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brightside Baptist Church.
