Arthur L. Barr, 91

Arthur Barr, 91, of Lititz, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Luther Acres.

Born in Kutztown, Berks County, he was the son of the late David Earl and Anna Boose Barr.

He was the husband of the late Doris Miller Barr who passed away in March of 2022.

A US Army veteran, 1952-1956, he was stationed in Puerto Rico and the Panama Canal after finishing his basic training. After discharge from the Army, he worked at Warner Lambert until retirement.

He is survived by his sons: Kevin married to Anita Barr of Lititz, and Scott married to Marlene Barr of Lititz, and 1 granddaughter, Selena Barr of Ephrata. He is also survived by his siblings Emil Barr of Ephrata and Jim Barr of Ahoskie, NC. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bervin Barr and his sister, Marie Moore.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 11 AM in the community room at Luther Acres. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Kindly omit flowers; any contributions can be made to Luther Acres Benevolent Care.
