Armand Santaniello, 92

Armand Santaniello, 92, of Lancaster, died Friday, December 5, 2014 at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.
Born in Scranton, he was the husband of Jane (Kurtz) Santaniello of Lancaster, and the son of the late Nicholas and Michelina (Zenobio) Santaniello.
He was a graduate of Millersville University and went on to earn his Master’s from Shippensburg University. Armand worked as an employment specialist for the State of Pennsylvania’s Department of Labor and Industry for many years until his retirement.
A member of the Catholic faith, he was a proud Army veteran of WWII.
In addition to his wife of 62 years, he is survived by 2 daughters: Carol Santaniello and Joyce Macik and her husband Mark, all of Lancaster; a son, Gregory Santaniello of Conestoga; and 5 grandchildren: Sherrie, Andrew, Douglas, Eric, and Jenna. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Bernard; and a sister, Florence Santaniello.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz. Friends will be received at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. Burial with full military honors will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
