Annabelle K. Wagaman, 89

Annabelle K. Wagaman, 89, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Moravian Manor. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ceylon and Kathryn (Kenney) Rowell. Annabelle met her husband Robert R. Wagaman at Hamilton Watch following WWII, and was married to him for 67 years before his death January 5, 2014.
She graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School and worked as a switchboard operator at Sears Roebuck and Co. Annabelle was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family and friends. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and playing cards. She was a former member of Long Memorial U.M. Church in Neffsville.
Annabelle is survived by three sons: Robert J. Wagaman of Faith Friendship Communities, Mountville; Jeffrey N. Wagaman and his wife Elayne of Lititz, and Stacy S. Wagaman and his wife Sue of Mountville; four grandchildren: Kerri Demmy, April Richter, and Jeffrey and Sarah Wagaman; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marianne C. Simmons and her husband Glenn of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by four siblings: James E. Rowell, Dorothy E. Helm, Charles E. Rowell and Francis G. Rowell.
The Wagaman family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Moravian Manor for the special care they provided to Annabelle.
Memorial Services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, March 28, 2014, at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Long Memorial UMC Cemetery, Neffsville. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Faith Friendship Ministries, PO Box 567, Mountville, PA 17554.
