Ann will be affectionately missed at Ephrata Hospital and our Cancer Center, where so many of her beautiful prayer ‘shrugs’ were freely given to patients. Even within the last few months, and weeks of her life she still dropped off several bags at a time of her workmanship. She was an inspiration to me and our Prayer Shawl Group for the quality of her work and her uncomplaining spirit. The only consolation for me is that she now has her sight restored fully and must be full of amazement at the beauty in heaven.
Much love to her family.
Rev. Pamela Fischer
Director of Chaplaincy Services
Ephrata Community Hospital
Ann will indeed be missed by many.I have known Ann for many, many years,as I first met her through one of the many clubs and activities at the Susquehanna Association For The Blind And Visually Impaired that have been provided for many years for the clients to become involved in.I myself being a client for 38 years, got to know Ann,and we were very good friends, talking on the phone, and also she has taken me out to eat sometimes as well!!She always put others before herself, and always had a smile on her face!!She always offered a joke, and thus brightened many of my days when I needed a pick me up and a laugh!!Her kind heart for others will always live on in the lives of many!!
My condolences and prayers go out to Ann’s family!!!She is now seeing, and is in her new Heavenly Home, and one day I.along with many of her friends, will see her her again, when we are called Home!!

I can only add to all of the references made by Chaplain Pam at the ECH. I am a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry that Ann so skillfully, prayerfully and generously donated her "labors of love". Know that she will be greatly missed.

It was very sad for me to hear that Anna had passed away. She was a great friend and I corresponded with her about braille. She helped me a lot and I will miss her. It’s a sad day. May God Bless her..
