Anna E. Byerly, 89

Anna E. Byerly, 89, of Conestoga View formerly of 2001 Wabank Road, Lancaster died on Tuesday morning at her residence.

Loving wife and mother, she was a homemaker and a member of Grace Lutheran Church.  In her early years, she was a member of the Millersville Women’s Club and President of the Young Democrats of Lancaster.

Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Harry and Blanche Smoker Mellinger.  She was married to Jacob P. Byerly Sr. who died in 2004.

Surviving are two daughters; Beverly wife of Thomas J. Jordan of Millersville; Bonnie wife of George A. Ries of Lancaster; one son, Jacob P. Jr. husband of Nancy Byerly of Telford; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George St., Millersville on Friday at 11:00am.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00am until time of service.  Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers contributions in Anna’s memory may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
