Andrew Thomas Pete, 27

May 17, 2019

Andrew Thomas Pete, 27, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019. Born in York, he was the son of Angela (Reynolds) Wynn and the late Donald P. Pete Jr.

Andrew graduated from Penn Manor in 2010 and was a member of their bowling team, where his passion for bowling grew. An accomplished bowler, Andrew bowled over 15 300 games and surpassed the scores for an 800 series. You could often find Andrew at Leisure Lanes, his favorite bowling spot, and where he worked in high school. Andrew enjoyed playing video games with his friends, playing mini golf, and practicing his swing at the driving range. Andrew had a playful spirit and loved to make those around him smile. He was always making jokes and having fun. He was never afraid to try anything new. Andrew was a kind, compassionate, and caring person, who was always willing to help you in your time of need. He will be remembered by his affectionate nature, jovial personality, and good heart.

He is survived by his incredibly proud mother, Angela Wynn; his best friend and brother, Donald P. Pete III; his beloved girlfriend, Kayla Conant; grandparents, Alice and Kenneth R. Reynolds and Donald P. Pete Sr.; his aunts and uncles, Lori A. High, Phillip D. High Sr., Dawn Pete, and Jeffrey A. Pete; and his cousins; Austin G. Victoria, Phillip D. High Jr., Jada Pete and Brynn Pete.

A Viewing will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home at 441 N. George St. Millersville, PA. I was very sad to hear that Andy had passed away. I got to know Andy while always being at Leisure Lanes and then bowling with him in our Saturday night league. Andy was always a very nice and respectful young man. I appreciate the help he always gave to my daughter to improve her bowling game. My heart goes out to Angela and her family during this loss. Andy will be missed. ❤️
