I was on the Executive Committee when Andy was President of SCORE and I often sat with him at Lancaster Rotary meetings. He put SCORE on the political map when he was President by visiting local Lancaster legislators and other prominent people . He finally convinced them to check us out and we have had their attention ever since. Nice going Andy!
Andy was passionate about politics, and we discussed issues often. While we didn’t always agree, I thoroughly enjoyed and learned from Andy’s viewpoint.
We were both educated as Chemical Engineers and had attended some of the same schools. He was a few years ahead of me, but we still enjoyed talking about those experiences and some of the difficult courses we took. He was from Brooklyn, and I was from Queens, so we also enjoyed comparing notes on sports teams.
I admired and respected Andy because of his passion, courage, integrity, and his search for doing the right thing. I will truly miss him.

I served on the Executive Committee when Andy was President of SCORE and also sat with him often at Lancaster Rotary meetings. At SCORE he certainly put us on the Lancaster political map by often visiting with legislators and other prominent people and telling them why they shold get involved with SCORE.
Andy and I often talked politics at Rotary and he was very passionate with  his views. We didn’t agree very often, but I loved hearing his views.
Andy and I were both educated as Chemical Engineers and part of that education was at the same schools. We compared notes often about the various courses we took and the profs we studied under. Such fun remembering those old times.
While I didn’t always agree with him, I admired his courage, drive, integrity, and his search for the right thing to do in each situation. I loved him and will miss him.
