Condolences to the Family

I served with CMSGT Drepperd from 1967 to January 1970 with the 6499th Special Activities Group at Hickam AFB, Hawaii.  I was 19 years old when I was assigned there.  He was a great, patriotic family man, and a model NCO.
He always was smiling.  My sister flew to Hawaii to visit me and Sgt. Drepperd and Grace invited us both over to his house for dinner.  They were very gracious.
He will be missed.  I salute you Sarge.

I sang in several Barbershop Quartets with Al.  He was a great baritone but more importantly a great man.  I was sorry to have lost contact with him but am happpy to have found the news of his moving to the heavenly barbershop chorus.  Missed him when he moved up North but will now miss him even more.  Rest well my good and faithful friend.  Give Grace  a hug for me.

I was very fortunate to know Al through his son-in-law Greg. What a blessed life! I got to hear Al tell me about some of his many amazing life experiences. As a veteran, I salute you Al for your long dedicated service to our country at war and in peace. God bless!
