A. Raymond McKeeman, 85
A. Raymond McKeeman, May 13th, 2011, age 85, of Willow Valley Retirement Community. Husband of Jacqueline (Queroli) McKeeman with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage this past November 20th. Ray was a graduate of Temple University. He worked for the Campbell Soup Company for 29 years, as an engineer for the Swanson Frozen Food Division.
Ray proudly served his country as a Navy signalman on several aircraft carriers in the Pacific during WWII. He was a member of the U.S.S. Bataan Reunion Group and a Freemason for over 55 years. After retiring he participated in the Senior Olympics, enjoyed golf, race walking, music, traveling and aviation. Ray enjoyed his family and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Jacqueline, are his 3 children; David McKeeman husband of Debbie, Paula Marshall wife of Henry “Buzz” and Stephen McKeeman husband of Jeanne, 4 grandchildren: Shawn, Kevin, Tyler, Matthew, 2 step grandchildren Colin and Christopher, and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Stewart McKeeman.
A Memorial Service is planned in the near future.
