Zeno Zabawsky, 88, formerly of 1755 Wilson Ave., Lancaster, passed away at the home of his daughter in Azusa, CA on Saturday, April 19, 2008

Zeno was the husband of the late Helen Hotlock Zabawsky, who passed away in 2005. Born in Stafford Springs, CN, he was the son of the late Peter and Pauline Schzlo Zabawsky.

Zeno had worked as a senior test advisor at the Research and Development Center of Armstrong World Industries for 36 years, until his retirement in 1982.

He was a member of St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, where he had been voted Man of The Year in years past. He also served as a Eucharistic Minister and an usher at the church.

Zeno was a 4 ^th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Santa Maria Assembly, and had served as the Grand Knight and Treasurer for the Elizabeth Ann Seton Council 6810.

He attended North Carolina State University, and graduated in 1941 from Alfred University in Alfred NY with a BS in Ceramic Engineering.

He is survived by his son, Z. Charles Zabawsky of Lancaster, his daughter Susan Jean Keenan of Azusa, Ca and 4 grandchildren: Theresa Lyn Zabawsky, Daniel and Doug McCullough, and Joey Gargano.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 9-10AM at St Leo The Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601 with the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10AM, the Rev William Sullivan as Celebrant. Interment in St Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Zeno's memory to St. Leo The Great Catholic Church. Arrangements by the Charles F.
