Za Kung, 59, of Lancaster, passed away following a lengthy illness, Monday, December 30, 2024. Born in Falam, Bruma, he was the husband of Hniar Caan. Za was the son of the late Tial Kung and Dar Zi.

Za worked for Tyson Food. Of the Christian Faith, he was a member of the Lancaster Chin Christian Church, Leola.

In addition to his wife, Hniar, Za is survived by his sons: Za Nawl, Ngun, Samuel Thang, and Ngun Lian Sang.

Family and friends will be received from 11AM to 12PM, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Lancaster Chin Christian Church, 274 W. Main St., Leola, PA 17540. A funeral service will follow from 12PM to 2PM. Interment will take place at 2:30PM at Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery.
