Yvonne A. Lewis, 74, of Lancaster went to be with her Lord Thursday, July 8, 2010.  Born in Lancaster, Yvonne was the daughter of the late Clarence Stewart and Blanche R. (Hall) Lackey.  She was married to William G. Lewis for 25 years.

Yvonne was a member of Kingdom Builders Church.

A homemaker and Practical Nurse, Yvonne enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Yvonne is survived by her children, Denise Y. Miller, Cynthia R. Jamison, Jean M. Walker, step-children, Paulette Lewis, William R. Lewis, Tonda Miller, Marie Lewis, Hope Bryson, 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and brother, Cornell Stewart.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Jacqueline Lavender, and 2 step-sons, Edward & Clifford Lewis.

Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 1 PM at Kingdom Builders Church, 407 Lafayette St., Lancaster, PA 17603 with Pastor Yvette J. Bowling officiating.  A viewing will be held from 12 until 1 PM at the church.  Interment will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Charles F.
