Yvonne T. Kaufhold, 79, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. She had been residing at Homestead Village at the Gelhard House. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Richard and E. Clair (McDougal) Reincke. She was the loving wife of Leo F. Kaufhold with whom she shared over 59 years of marriage. She was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and attended St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. Yvonne was a member of Grace Fellowship Church of Ephrata where she was a part of the Nursery Ministry and Women's Bible study. She was a compassionate, loving and generous individual especially evident when it came to her family. She adored spending time with them. She was a spunky lady. She was a terrific cook and hostess and enjoyed listening to music, singing and was an avid bowler. In addition to her husband Leo, she is survived by her children: Jeffrey Kaufhold husband of Priscilla of Lancaster, Donna Witmer wife of Randy of East Petersburg, Kenneth Kaufhold husband of Edna of Virginia Beach, VA, and Denise Hardeman wife of Don of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and her siblings: Paul Reincke of Mountville, Carolyn Bertz wife of Tom, Dick Reincke husband of Wanda and Vicki Kremples wife of Dan all of Lancaster. A Prayer Service will be held at 11AM on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Interment in St. Joseph's New Catholic Cemetery. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
