Yong Neng Moua, 61, of Ephrata, was surrounded by his family as he went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Ephrata Community Hospital. He was born in Laos on May 18, 1952 and was the son of Yang Xiong Moua and Bao Yang. He was married to Youa Lor Moua for 45 years.

In addition to his wife, Youa, Yong is survived by his children See Moua, Nghia Moua, Ker Moua, Zer Moua, Pang Moua-Yang, and Ko Moua; nine grandchildren; and nine siblings: Chow Moua of Laos, Cheue Xiong of Michigan, Sia Moua of Ephrata, PA, Long Moua of Ephrata, PA, Blong Moua of Denver, PA, Lu Yang of Georgia, Ha Moua of Rhode Island, Houa Yang of Denver, PA, and Lee Moua of Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his son, Kou Moua.

Yong was an active member of the Leola Hmong Alliance Church. His interests were diverse. He enjoyed growing and maintaining plants, photography, and fixing small equipment. Above all, he was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather and loved his family and was devoted to their well-being.

Family and friends will be received at a viewing from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2013 and again from 6 to 9 PM on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A funeral service will be held from 9 to 11 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Middle Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Lititz, PA.
