Xay Tou Herr, 80, of Denver, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February13, 2021. Born in Xieng Khouand, Laos, he was the son of the late May (Yang) and Chervang Herr. He was the beloved husband to Xong (Xiong) Herr.

Xay was a longtime member of Hmong Alliance Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Xay took great pride in taking care of the lawn. He enjoyed watching sports but most of all he cherished spending time with his family. His gentle heart and contagious smile will be missed by all.

Xay is survived by his wife Xong Herr; his children: Terry (Nikole) of Lancaster, Steven Her (Feng) of Statesville, NC and Pamela Chow (Dragon) of Union, NJ; his grandchildren: Brooke, Kristine, Jessica, Amanda, Timothy, Kou, Marina, Andrew, Kevin, Jonathan, Serena, Nicholas and Olivia; his great-grandchildren: Genesis, Cassidy, Rile, Ezekiel "Zeke", Titus and Allium. He was preceded in death by his daughter Blia Herr.

A viewing will be held from 5PM-9PM on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr., Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Service will be held at 6PM. A second viewing will be held from 9AM until 10AM on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the funeral home, followed by a service at 10AM. Services will be live streamed. The link will post to the obituary 15 minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow at Weaverland Mennonite Cemetery.
