Winifred R. Johns, 89, of Calvary Fellowship Homes, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Born in Quarryville, she was the daughter of the late Chester M. and Ruth (Livengood) Landis. Winifred was the loving wife of Marvin F. Johns, who died in 1988.

Winifred worked as a secretary for Lancaster Guidance Center for many years. Afterward she went to work for Calvary Fellowship Homes where she joyfully served in her retirement years.

Winifred was a member of Long Memorial United Methodist Church, Neffsville. She loved to spend her free time camping. Winifred's greatest joy came from her family who she loved dearly.

Winifred is survived by her sons, Kenneth, J. Douglas, husband of Kathy, and David "Neal", husband of Raine; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 9 siblings. She was preceded in death by 3 siblings.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 10AM to 11AM at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 11AM. Interment will follow at Long Memorial United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Winifred's memory may be made to Parkinson's Research .
