William L. Potts, 63, of 118 Pleasant Acres Rd., York, and formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday morning, December 15, 2010 in York after a lengthy illness.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Vernon and Burnette Houseal Potts.

Bill had worked in production at the RCA Corporation for several years.

He was a 1965 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. Bill enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, writing and photography. He also liked to watch sports, especially Penn State football and the Philadelphia Phillies.

Bill is survived by his sister, Virginia M. married to David H. Miller of Lancaster, a niece and a nephew and a great niece and great nephew.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
