William "Butch" Joseph Birkenbine, 67, formally of East Petersburg transitioned to eternal life at 6:55pm on December 24, 2024, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.
William has been reunited with his father and mother, Elmer and Joan Birkenbine, a brother, Jeffrey Birkenbine, a sister, Shirley Birkenbine, and many other friends and family members whom he cherished.
William leaves behind his one and only daughter, Katherine Birkenbine, whom he was very proud of, his beloved grandsons, Simon and Rhys Birkenbine, former wife and friend, Deborah Stasiak-Birkenbine all of East Petersburg, his sister and brother in law, Linda and Gary Waters and their family who loved him dearly of Manheim Township.
William's final week on earth was spent with Deborah, Katherine, Simon, and Rhys who showered him with grace and unconditional love, along with the wonderful staff of Hospice & Community Care. William will be genuinely missed by his grandsons who saw him as a perfect Pappy, his daughter who loved him as he was and not what others sought him to be, and friends and family who cherished him.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003 at 10AM. Guests are asked to report the administration building prior to 10AM.
